Staffing Guidelines
Typical Guidelines
Up to 20 swimmers
1 Lifeguard
20-40 swimmers
2 Lifeguards
40-60 swimmers
3 Lifeguards
BlueLux will recommend final staffing based on swimmer count, age ranges, pool features, and planned activities.
Optional Add-Ons
Swim Ability Evaluation
$100 per event
A fun and practical assessment that helps parents understand each child's swimming ability and appropriate supervision needs.

- Swim evaluation
- Color-coded wristbands
- Parent guidance and supervision recommendations
Swim Instruction Add-On
$125 per hour
Before your event begins, your lifeguard can provide swim instruction, water confidence coaching, and age-appropriate safety training before transitioning into active event supervision.
This is performed by the same lifeguard assigned to the event.
