Are your lifeguards certified?

Yes. Every BlueLux event lifeguard is professionally trained and holds current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. All staff are background screened and arrive in BlueLux uniform.

How many lifeguards do I need for my pool party?

As a general guideline, we staff one lifeguard for up to 20 swimmers, two for 20 to 40, and three for 40 to 60. We confirm final staffing based on swimmer count, age ranges, pool features, and planned activities.

What areas do you serve?

We provide private event lifeguards throughout San Diego County, including Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, and North County San Diego.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for summer weekends and holidays. Reach out with your event date and we will confirm availability.

Does a lifeguard guarantee my guests will be safe?

Our lifeguards provide active supervision and emergency preparedness, but no service can guarantee the prevention of every accident. Guests and minors remain the responsibility of the host.

A fun and practical assessment that helps parents understand each child's swimming ability and appropriate supervision needs.

Before your event begins, your lifeguard can provide swim instruction, water confidence coaching, and age-appropriate safety training before transitioning into active event supervision.
