Agreement Overview

This Service Agreement establishes the terms and conditions for professional pool maintenance services provided by BlueLux Pool Services. This Agreement supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Service Plans

BASIC: Bi-Weekly Chemistry Care

$85/month

Basic is a chemistry-focused plan, not a full cleaning plan.

Includes (bi-weekly):

  • Water testing and balancing
  • Basic equipment inspection (visual/operational)
  • Basic chemicals included (chlorine, acid/base for pH, alkalinity adjustment, basic shock as needed)
  • Digital service log + photo report after every visit
  • CPO-certified technicians

Excludes:

  • Skimmer/pump basket emptying
  • Brushing, vacuuming, tile cleaning
  • Filter cleans
  • Salt cell cleans
  • Specialty chemicals
  • Repairs

FULL: Weekly Standard Service

$180/month

Full is BlueLux's core weekly maintenance plan for reliable, professional pool care.

Includes (weekly):

  • Surface skimming and debris removal
  • Brushing walls/steps/fixtures (as needed)
  • Vacuuming as needed (not guaranteed every visit; performed based on debris conditions and water clarity)
  • Emptying skimmer and pump baskets
  • Basic equipment inspection and issue reporting
  • Basic chemicals included (chlorine, acid/base for pH, alkalinity adjustment, basic shock as needed)

Billed Separately (as needed):

  • Filter clean: $150 each (recommended twice per year)
  • Salt cell clean: $50 each
  • Specialty chemicals
  • Repairs and dedicated service visits

PREMIUM: No Surprise Bills

$350/month

Premium eliminates surprises. Predictable monthly cost with proactive care, concierge access, and parts under $50 covered on repairs.

Includes:

  • Everything in Full
  • Two filter cleans per year (labor included)
  • Four salt cell cleans per year (labor included)
  • All specialty chemicals included (subject to fair-use clause)
  • On-route minor repairs: labor up to 30 min + parts under $50 included
  • Dedicated concierge contact (direct cell access)
  • Priority scheduling (route priority and faster response)
  • Same-day emergency response ($99 dispatch fee)

Billed Separately:

  • Parts over $50 billed at published retail pricing
  • Dedicated off-route service visits (see Service Visit Pricing)

LUX: Zero Headaches

$580/month

Zero headaches. Parts under $500 per repair covered, unlimited free emergency visits, all repair labor with no caps, and full concierge lifestyle.

Includes:

  • Everything in Premium
  • Parts under $500 per repair covered (valves $50–200, actuators $100–300, filter media $100–400, some salt cells)
  • ALL repair labor included, no caps
  • Unlimited free emergency visits (no dispatch fee)
  • Dedicated concierge contact and priority same-day response
  • Weekly deck/leaf blowing (light maintenance, not landscaping)
  • Fresh towels delivered & washed weekly
  • Sunscreen station stocked
  • Pool party prep/cleanup twice per year
  • On-demand lifeguard for two events per year (must schedule in advance; subject to availability and local compliance)
  • Smart monitoring

Billed Separately:

  • Parts over $500 per repair billed at retail pricing (pumps $800+, heaters $1,500+, automation $1,000+)

Contract: 12-month minimum required. Early termination fee = 2 months of service.

Filter & Salt System Policy

Filter cleaning is recommended twice per year, more if needed due to environment or usage. Cartridge/grid replacements are billed separately as needed.

Salt cell cleaning is recommended every ~3 months. Premium includes four salt cell cleans per year (labor included).

Fair-Use Chemical Clause

Excessive chemical use caused by equipment failure, leaks, heavy bather load, or unusual environmental conditions may incur additional charges.

Repair Authorization by Service Tier

Basic / Full

  • Repairs over $150 require written authorization unless emergency prevents damage
  • All repairs billed at applicable labor rates plus parts at retail

Premium

  • On-route minor repair labor included up to 30 minutes
  • Parts under $50 included on on-route repairs (valves, gaskets, small components)
  • Parts over $50 billed at published retail pricing
  • Dedicated concierge contact for scheduling and questions
  • Same-day emergency response available ($99 dispatch fee)
  • Off-route visits billed at $199

Lux

  • All repair labor included, no caps
  • Parts under $500 per repair covered (valves, actuators, filter media, some salt cells)
  • Parts over $500 per repair billed at retail pricing (pumps $800+, heaters $1,500+, automation $1,000+)

Warranty Coverage

  • 90-day labor warranty on all repairs performed by BlueLux
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and equipment

Service Timing & Cadence

Business hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM

Route day consistency: We establish a consistent service day for your property. Service time windows may vary due to weather, traffic, or other service commitments.

Weather delays: Services may be postponed due to severe weather or unsafe conditions. Missed services will be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe.

Customer Obligations

Property Access

  • Provide safe, unobstructed access to pool area and equipment
  • Ensure gates are unlocked or provide access codes/keys
  • Maintain clear pathways free of obstacles
  • Secure pets during service visits
  • Notify us of any changes to access procedures

Pool Maintenance

  • Maintain adequate water level (middle of skimmer opening)
  • Keep pool deck and surrounding area reasonably clean
  • Report equipment malfunctions immediately
  • Do not add chemicals 24 hours before/after service
  • Inform us of pool parties or heavy usage

Basic / Full / Premium

  • Month-to-month agreement
  • 30-day written cancellation notice required
  • No long-term contract required

Lux (Pool Concierge)

  • 12-month minimum contract required
  • Early termination fee: 2 months of service fees
  • Auto-renewal after initial term with 30-day cancellation notice

Payment Terms

  • Monthly billing for all service plans
  • Net 30 payment terms from invoice date
  • Late fee of 1.5% monthly on overdue balances
  • Service may be suspended for accounts over 30 days past due
  • Prices may be adjusted annually with 30 days written notice
