In an emergency, call first
Never mix acid with any chlorine
Muriatic acid plus liquid chlorine, trichlor, or dichlor releases toxic chlorine gas.
Never mix two chlorine types
Trichlor, dichlor, and liquid chlorine can react together and cause fire or explosion.
Keep oxidizers dry and sealed
Water or moisture in a tablet or shock pail builds pressure and can form an explosive compound.
One chemical at a time
Add a single product, let the pump circulate, then add the next. When unsure, stop and call the office.
